Thanks for taking time to check out my blog.  I am new to "blogging" but I wanted to take this chance to introduce Natalie and I.

We are Western Kentucky natives.  I grew up in the metropolitan area of Clinton, KY (Hickman County) and Natalie is from the Smithland are in Livingston Co.  We currently reside in the Smithland area along with our 4 legged child Gibbs.

I worked for over 28 years as a Firefighter/Paramedic wherever life and ministry took me.  Natalie and I married in August of 2002 and have been pursing God together since then.  Natalie is an RN and has helped people from being in hospitals, nursing homes, and even a school nurse.

Just a little bit of my history.  (I will have Natalie do a blog if she will.) In the mid 1990's I began hanging around a group of people who were pursing revival.  Then I had a real encounter with God that was truly life changing.  He began traveling with the group to the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola FL.  I has always tried to "be, stay, and involve myself" in revival mentality.  I am very thankful to have been a part of the KY- 704 Cornfield Revival, Southwest Kansas Revivals and March for Jesus, as well as the Texas Tent Revival.  My heart is passionate for God and purses His presence in that manner.

In 2002 I surrendered to my call to minister.  I went to my pastor, we talked and I began serving (without a title).  I was obedient and respectful and did as I was asked.  During that time our youth pastor had to miss some midweek services for work, and when he did I filled in.  Well, in 2003 he and his family relocated and I became the youth leader/pastor while still serving as a deacon, worker, and even interim pastor for a while.

In 2010 I took my first pastorate at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God (now Foothills Community Church) in Albany, Ky.  Great things happened and we served diligently until 2016 when God called us to New Beginnings Church in Liberal Kansas.

God truly moved in a sovereign way while we were there.  Many healings, deliverances, salvations, Holy Spirit baptisms and so much more were happening.  We were truly blessed and honored to serve this great church.  But God...

In late 2021 we began to feel a stirring in our spirit that change was coming.  It was confirmed by multiple people through prayer and prophetic words.  We stepped out in faith in June of 2022 and left our position there only a short time later to be elected to be here at Eddyville Assembly of God as the lead pastors.

My life verse says it best in the Message Bible:  “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” God’s Decree. “I’ll turn things around for you. I’ll bring you back from all the countries into which I drove you”—God’s Decree—“bring you home to the place from which I sent you off into exile. You can count on it."  Jeremiah 29:13

We are honored to be here and look forward to getting to know each one of you and pursing all that God is and has alongside you.  We KNOW God has great things in store for EAG and we are looking forward to getting to be a part of that.

Sincerely,

Pastor Kevin
